Some mornings on 30A call for a slow start, and this is where we grab ours. Coffee Shoppe at 30A opens early in the Village Blvd plaza in Santa Rosa Beach, so we can get a real latte in hand before the beach chairs go out.
What to expect when you order your coffee
It's a small, cozy shop that punches way above its size. The syrups are made in house, which is the whole reason a flavored latte here tastes like coffee instead of dessert syrup. We order the iced caramel latte when we want something sweet and the matcha latte when we don't.
The food side is worth a look too. Cruffins and croffles rotate through, and the cookie butter croffle is the one we'd get two of. There's a Nutella crepe if you're feeding a kid who needs convincing about breakfast.
Good to know before you swing by
The space is tight and it gets busy, especially mid-morning in peak season. The staff moves fast and stays friendly even when there's a line out the door, so give it a few minutes and you'll be fine. Parking is in the plaza lot, which fills up around the same time the shop does.
