Spacious & quiet home near the beach!

I booked this place when it had zero prior reviews, so I was a little unsure what to expect. The house is even larger than it appears on the listing and the huge master bath was a nice surprise (soaking tub, shower, double sinks and toilet closet). There is also ample storage and closet space. It was just me & my spouse but the house would be ideal for a larger family with kids. The living area and kitchen were comfortable and nicely furnished.The back porch area was very quiet with a nice seating area, and the grill was nice to have! The large TV was easy to use. 3 bikes were provided and we biked to the beach at Seaside (Coleman Pavilion entrance) each day, though we could have accessed the beach at a closer point.The Hammock Hideaway neighborhood was very nice, quiet and well maintained. The pool was clean, fairly small, and just a few steps from the house. I recommend getting shrimp and a burger on the Bud & Alleys patio and making a reservation at Great Southern. Otherwise, grab some groceries from Publix for dinners at the house and beach snacks. Long post but hope it's helpful! See you next year, 30a!

Lovely home

Spacious, clean bungalow in great location!
My family of three enjoyed the Hammock Hideaway! This was our second trip to the area and we loved the quaint neighborhood-it was a mix of rentals and home owners! The neighbors were warm and inviting offering great tips for the area! And the pool was perfect for our 3-year old! It was clean with easy access and never crowded...a great place to meet other people too! Hammock Hideaway was more than enough space. The kitchen was large with huge pantry and lots of room to move around. The only thing missing was a light over the kitchen table...with shutters over the windows, the house was a bit dark throughout the day. The living area was comfy and cozy with a large TV to sit back and relax in the evenings. All the bedrooms were great size. Our daughter loved the bunk beds! And the master was like a suite hotel room with lots of closet space, spacious bathroom and a cozy feel! We enjoyed our mornings on the front porch and used the back porch while grilling. Highly recommend this home to a family or a couple looking for a quiet escape with lots of amenities (e.g., store, restaurants, beach access, bikes) nearby!

Awesome 30A Getaway

This property was exactly as described. Clean, well cared for, and just steps from the pool. You are exactly one mile from Seaside and very close to a grocery and Seagrove’s Village Market. Our younger son has CP, so we rented a golf cart to help get around and that worked perfectly to help get to the beach at Seaside. The kitchen is stocked well for cooking with all the pots and dishes you need. This was our first visit to 30A and it won’t be our last. Thanks for a great stay.

Perfect for our family!

We enjoyed everything about this property and location! It was close enough to everything without being in the middle of the crowds and noise around Seaside. We enjoyed the pool and were often the only people at the pool. Definitely recommend renting a golf cart for transportation to get around. We also made use of the 3 bikes as well. We would also like to thank Amanda with guest services and her responsiveness to remedy minor issues. She provided 5 star service for us! Overall, we would recommend this property and would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Neighborhood & Great Bike Access
We had a great time at Hammock Hideaway with our family. The house was spacious and extremely clean with all of the things we needed to cook and enjoy time hanging out together. The linens are super comfortable and I appreciated the extra blankets and pillows. The neighborhood is super quiet and tucked back away from the crowds (we even saw deer wandering through). We took full advantage of the bikes provided and loved that the neighborhood is connected to Watercolor and Seaside via the bike paths. The dining area could use an overhead light since the shutters cover up quite a bit of the window and the main bed is pretty soft (just a personal preference for anyone who needs a firmer mattress) but overall we really had another great trip to the 30A area!

Perfect coastal getaway

This was a beautiful and bright house. Just close enough and just far enough from the hustle and bustle of seaside. Publix was very close and convenient. The general feel of the neighborhood is so charming and quiet. Perfect getaway!

A true hideaway!

Prefect Location....gated community, surrounded by trees, steps to the pool, enjoyed the bicycles, short bike ride to the beach, Publix grocery 5 minutes away, perfect size home for 2 adults, 2 teens and 2 tweens!

Fantastic location

The house was perfect and the location as well. It’s secluded but right next to all the things you want to do - beach, swimming pool, downtown Seaside, biking, restaurants.

Hammocks of SeaGrove

Property was a great fit for our family. First off house was spotless clean which is always the first thing I look for in a home review. Kitchen clean, no sand on floors and bathrooms were spotless. Perfect size for 6 people. Master bedroom and bathroom were big for a rental. + 2 walk in closets. Queen size for our teenage girls. And bunk beds for the pre-teens. Nice open layout with kitchen, dining room and living room. Kids liked the bar to sit and eat breakfast. Close to beach just a straight 3 block ride on bicycles that took 5-8 minutes to trek. Appreciated the 3 bicycles with the property and ease of renting 1 more bike for the girls. We did not use the neighborhood pool much as girls wanted the beach but would be good especially for family with little kids as the beach can be tiring. Only cons were the nighttime outdoor lighting for the neighborhood was minimal which I didn't mind when husband at house but a little uncomfortable when he went back early and then just me and girls. A motion light would help. The skillet x2 were well past prime and had to soak and scrape it after morning eggs. Just a small problem but would be tossed at my house. Rest of dishes were a good assortment and met all our needs. Overall great experience and would have no reservations renting it again in the future. A definite 5/5 winner.

10 Bay Laurel Lane Review

Our stay here was excellent. Would definitely recommend to others. We are a family of four (kids 11 and 13) and there was plenty of room to rest and relax. The community pool that is steps from the front door, was great. We would get home from the beach and shower off the sand and go for a little swim before going to the house. I have only a couple of suggestions for the rental company; please provide more than small travel size shampoo and conditioner. A large bottle attached to the shower wall would be great. We went to the Publix 2 minutes from our house and bought shampoo and conditioner to remedy this problem which was not a big deal since we were going there for groceries anyways. Also a box of Kleenex in the house would be nice but luckily I keep a box in the car which I brought inside to use. Also bikes with a basket would have been great since we had to ride with backpacks to carry all our belongings when we rode the bikes. Also to label all the light switches because many of the switches we didn’t know what it turned on. The property was very prompt at providing helmets and other items that were requested. This house was close to the beach and an easy bike ride there. For restaurants it was easily a 7 minute bike ride to all the restaurants to the main area of Seaside (by the famous post office). We drove to the other restaurants that were further away and opted out of renting a golf cart which suited us fine. Thanks for letting us stay at your cute house!

Great 3BR for family and kids, a short drive to the beach

Property was as described. Staff was attentive (e.g., delivered a tea kettle within a couple hours of asking). Close enough to Seaside for the fun, far enough away to always be quiet. Cute little neighborhood.

Great getaway!

This quiet little house is tucked in a quiet neighborhood We visited the pool twice, that took less than 30 seconds to walk to, and we were the only ones there both times. Pool was clean along with bathroom there. House was close enough to town and beaches via golf cart and yet far enough out for peace and quiet. Will definitely visit again. My absolute only complaint was the driveway(s) were shorter and more narrow than expected.
