Already Booked for Next Year

This is our 5th year in the same house and we are already booked for next year. The kids tell us it is the only place they ever want to go for family vacation. Jessica gave us her cell phone and said we could call 24/7. It was a wonderful experience.

Great Time at 622 Western Lake!

Being new to Watercolor and 30A we weren't quite sure what to expect, but were delighted with our stay at 622 Western Lake. Perfect location- just a quick walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. The floor plan of the house worked perfectly for our 3 families, including 6 children, and the bunk room was perfect! House was immaculate with both private spaces and gathering places. Our bed was the best!!! Better than any hotel I've ever been to. And loved sitting in the front porch, just rocking and reading. Can't wait to come back here!

Absolutely Amazing

This property is absolutely amazing. The house is gorgeous, homey, and very comfortable for all guests. Bedrooms are decorated to make you feel right at home with their own, very clean bathrooms! The house is updated and very nice!! The location is secluded yet around the corner from all great local spots and the BEACH! We didn’t want to leave this after a full week of 30A FL beach fun. Will definitely be going back!

Close to the beach!!!

We loved the house—-PLENTY of space for our entire family…and it was only a few blocks from the beach. Very convenient location. Short bike ride to Camp Watercolor and short walk to another pool. We all had a great time there.

Excellent Annual gathering

Every year our group of friends does a staycation in Watercolor in Nov. This is the best house that we have rented by far over the last 8 years. The location was spot-on. The layout of the house and the pairing of rooms with bathrooms was perfect. The bunk room was just what we needed for the semi-adult children in the group. We have already decided to book this house again with a longer stay next time.

Wonderful House for a Family Christmas
We thoroughly enjoyed this spacious house for our family Christmas in WaterColor. The house is beautiful and the location is perfect for easy access to the gorgeous white sandy beach. With three king bedrooms and the bunk bed room plus the carriage house we had more beds than people! The kitchen and dining area function very well. Everything about the house was perfect!

Definitely a 10!

We all loved the house, There were 13 of us, and everyone had plenty of room. The location was superb! We enjoyed the porch many late afternoons. Definitely a 10!

8 adults and 2 Toddlers for 10 days
This house was enjoyed by guests from 1 year old to 67 years old. Everyone had comfortable beds in their own provate bedrooms with their own bathrooms. Two sets of W/D came in handy. Convenient walk to Beach Club and morning coffee . Plenty of hot water for everyone to shower at same time. HVAC kept house nice and cool. Bikes were a fun addition.

Thanksgiving 2023
The house was awesome! Well equipped. Close to everything. Great space for large families. No problem with communication with property managers. They kept us up to speed with check in and check out. Would certainly consider renting again. Thanks

PERFECT
This property was PERFECT for our party of 10! Each couple got their own bedroom (yes, we used the bunk room for one couple since they arrived on separate dates) and their own bathroom. The couple that used the carriage house absolutely loved it! We walked everywhere - Seaside, the beach resort, Publix, all the outstanding restaurants in the resort. We went back and forth multiple times to Seaside to eat and just shop around. The Watercolor Resort pools were great! We used the middle adult pool next to the bar - no complaints here. All of us adults actually used the lazy river one day in Watercolor Camp! We had absolutely NO problems with anything in the house. The management company was spot on - received all our information as promised before check in (actually got early check in since the cleaners were all set). I called twice about random things, they answered right away, had the answers right away, very personable. The biggest worry I had was that someone would lose their bracelet getting us into the Watercolor Resort pool - so we had a nightly give back the bracelet hour! We did buy beach towels at Publix, but they do hand out pool towels at the hotel pool, so no need to bring any or buy them. I liked the fact that they left us a brown shopping bag to put all unopened non-perishable food items in for donations. We had a lot. I did keep all the unopened refrigerated/frozen items in the fridge - hopefully those went to good use as well. ALL IN ALL -- if you need house close to everything, big enough where no one will be on top of each other, somewhere you want to enjoy your morning coffee in peace in a rocker on the front porch -- look no further. Worth every penny! Hoping to be back soon. Cheers!

Thanksgiving 2023

This property is awesome. Lots of space for large families. Well stocked. Location can’t be beat, close to tennis courts, shops, Seaside. Easy communication with property managers. My husband and I, our children and grandchildren had a wonderful stay. Thanks so much.

A wonderful spring break!
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home! The house was appointed with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the layout of the house was perfect for our large group. We enjoyed the front porch every morning with our coffee! It is a short walk to the beach and a short walk or bike ride to all of Watercolor and Seaside. The management company was very responsive to our needs. We would definitely return to this beautiful property in the future.

Perfect home for large family vacation
We couldn’t have been happier with our choice of 622 Western Lake Dr. in Watercolor for getting together with our grown kids, their spouses/partners, and our grandchild. With five bedrooms (including the carriage house), every couple had their own nice room with private bathroom (plus a powder room half-bath, just off the main kitchen/living area). The house is so convenient to the Watercolor amenities (in Park district , near Marina pool & boathouse, just a few blocks to the Beachclub pools & beach access, with five cruiser bikes included for rides to Seaside, Camp Watercolor, trails around the community, and even Grayton Beach’s “Red Bar”. The kitchen was well equipped, with a nice large fridge, big gas stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, and plenty of glassware & cookware. With eleven people, we chose to make dinners at the house each evening of the week, to save time & stress & expense of eating out at night (near bedtime for a toddler), and there were plenty of nice wine glasses & cocktail glasses & coffee mugs for everyone, and cookware & knives, etc for making big nice dinners. The Watercolor pools are luxurious and the beach is beautiful (with option to walk steps from the west beach access ramp to the Grayton Beach State Park beach, with natural dunes, less crowds, and room for a family to spread out with no buildings in sight). 30A Escapes was very responsive to the one issue we had (ice maker problem), and brought a portable ice maker for the counter and bags of ice whenever needed. They also, in addition to five included bikes, had another requested bike with child trailer and a small toddler bike with training wheels waiting for us locked up with the five included bikes). This was a “once in a blue moon” trip for us, in celebration of a retirement and other family milestones, and we’re glad we picked this location. Everyone left Watercolor feeling like they’d had a vacation to remember for a lifetime.
