Beach on 30A

Summer might technically be over, but we’re rolling into what just might be the best time of year on 30A—fall. The weather starts to mellow out, but it’s still warm enough for beach days, afternoon swims and laid-back Gulf dips. With average highs around 86° and lows around 72°, it’s that ideal mix of sunny days and cooler nights. Oh, and the Gulf? Still a dreamy 85°—perfect for paddleboarding, floating, or just soaking it all in.

Labor Day weekend brings a bit of a buzz with visitors squeezing in one last summer getaway, but after that, things start to quiet down. Restaurants are easier to get into, the beaches open up and everything just feels a little more relaxed. You might see a small spike in crowds at the end of the month when fall breaks kick in, but overall, September is calm, breezy and oh-so-enjoyable.

Whether you’re planning a romantic weekend, a girls trip or a spontaneous getaway, 30A in September hits that sweet spot. Most of our homes come with 30A Escapes bikes so leave the car behind & explore, soak up the final warm Gulf breezes and discover why locals say fall is 30A’s best-kept secret.
